Next steps

With a foundation in place now, my next development goals will include:
- Dynamic quest system
- Procedurally generated quests with new rewards system
- Rewards may include new upgrade items that allow scaling of early Unique item drops to remain useful in the late game
- Refine and add more items to leverage the new work in progress elemental mechanic
- Continue to add unique bosses and items with distinct and thoughtful mechanics
- Continuous balancing of items and gameplay to target play time of ~15-30 minute runs
- Improve game sounds, visuals and overall feel
I also have some ideas that are predicated on a more stable and larger player base which will depend on the growth of the game:
- Persistent accounts
- This opens up space for meta-progression
- Weekly leaderboard challenges
Please share what your favorite builds are and what you would like to see more of! I will be keeping a close eye on feedback and constantly think of new items/mechanics to add in.
